Junior Elementary Education Major, minoring in Literacy, at the University of Northern Iowa.
Experience
I was tutored throughout Elementary School, and found it very helpful. For my Elementary Education Major I am required to have hours of Field Experience in classrooms K-8. I am constantly making lesson plans and working with students of all ages. I have been a camp counselor in Camp Adventure Youth Services for the past two years. Through all of my training and work I have helped many different ages of students, in all different academic areas. I am an Elementary Education major, so I love to work with children on improving their basic skills. My specialty is reading and writing tutoring. I just want to see students suceed in all areas of their life, including school. I currently am on the Dean's List and Honor Roll at my University. I also held a 3.8 GPA all through highschool, graduating with high honors.
