I would like to be a tutor because I enjoy helping others get over obstacles that may be hindering them from fully grasping course materials. I have experience growing up that sometimes subject matter just needs to be phrased a different way for it to 'click' in your mind; I would like to help be the one that makes it 'click' for you. As a Communication Studies Major, I have been countless classes on communicating orally (speeches) and in written form. I would be an excellent resource for looking at essays, speeches, papers, etc. and proofreading/ assisting in furthering their development. Also, I have spent all four of my years in high school as a student of music (choir and band (trumpet, guitar)) and all four years in college in chorus as well.
